There are eight weapons in Valkyrie Elysium at present, though you’ll only get access to six if you’re playing the base version of the game – one was a pre-order bonus, and another is locked in the Digital Deluxe edition. Of the remaining six, you’ll get four from the main quest and two from side quests.
You can assign two weapons to your hotkeys at any one time, allowing you to switch between them easily and try to take advantage of weapon vulnerabilities. These vulnerabilities play out much like elemental damage on your Divine Arts in that certain enemies are weak to certain weapons. However, there’s no visual indicator for weapon vulnerability, so you’ll have to experiment to see what weapon gives you the advantage over which enemy.

How to Get Every Weapon in Valkyrie Elysium
Alfodr: This is your starter weapon. A straight sword with a fair mix of speed and strength that offers good mobility. Bolverkr: Unlocked as your completion reward for Chapter 1. Bolverkr is a rapier with a focus on rapid attacks – it may not hit too hard with each blow, but the damage soon stacks up. Gagnrathr: Unlocked as your completion reward for the side quest “An Old Man’s Discerning Eye. ” A slower but harder-hitting blade, which can also emit slash waves. Baleygr: You’ll find this in the main square with the three Soul Trees in Chapter 3. While slower to attack, this spear is useful for fighting groups of enemies. Herteitr: Unlocked as your completion reward for Chapter 4. Another spear, but this one is lightning fast and quickly overwhelms enemies. Sifgrani: Unlocked as your completion reward for the side quest “Midgardian Studies (2). ” Sifgrani is a hybrid staff and mace, which is capable of magic attacks, as well as boasting a nimble moveset.
